Dharian's Lone Star, JC!  "Sam" ("Scotty" x "Sydney") earned back-to-back Junior Courser legs to finish his JC on Saturday and Sunday at Willamette Valley Basenji Club, then earned his first Senior Courser leg on Sunday.  Congrats to "Sam" and owner Charlotte Wenger.

6-29-07:  Dharian-Redhawk Charcoal Cody ("Payton" x "Jamie") took his first point in his first show at 6 months of age.  He was Winners Dog at Oklahoma City under judge Luane Williams, owner-handled by Denise Dang.  "Cody" is co-owned by Dharian.  The next day "Cody" was reserve to a 3-point major, Best of Breed Puppy, and took a Puppy Group 2.  Pretty good start for the little guy!  He was also a big hit at the Indian Nations Basenji Club booth for Meet the Breeds.

6-22-07:  Sad news from Lynn Jackson.  Dharian's Kmau Kiasi by Breka ("Jedi" x Avongara F-Matu by Breka) lost his battle with intestinal lymphoma today.  "Kiazi" was the first basenji and beloved companion of Lynn, her husband Paul, "Kiazi's" sister "M'Juvi" and buddy "Scotty".  Lynn says:   "Life with Kiazi has brought us nothing but love and joy, if you don't count the shredded clothes and ruined shoes and scratched-up doors - and who counts that? Our journey with him has taught us as much about being good humans as it has about living with basenjis.  He was a sweet boy. "
