2008 Litter"Blade" x "Stevie"Born July 18, 2008 1 red boy, 1 tri girl, 3 black girls
"Blade" first caught my eye as a puppy at the 2006 Basenji Club of America National Specialty. He walked into the ring like he owned the place, won that class, and went on to take Best of Winners. Now he is one of the top basenjis in the country, with 3 Best in Show wins. What with kidney transplants and broken legs (ours--not the dogs!), "Stevie" (our "lady in black") is major-pointed, but still a bit short of her AKC championship. She is an awesome runner, and will return to both field and ring after she raises these pups. She comes from a line of Best in Show, Best in Specialty Show, and sweepstakes winners. "Stevie" is "probably clear" of Fanconi syndrome by the new linked marker test, as are both of her parents. So although "Blade" is "probably carrier", these puppies are not at risk for Fanconi syndrome. All OFA and CERF numbers are recorded in the interactive pedigree, and all health information is available on the OFA website. Photo Gallery"Stevie" goes to Oklahoma City
Stevie says, "Motel pillows are the BEST!!!"

4 Weeks Old
Dharian's Sorcerer "Merlin" "Merlin" will be living with the Connor family and Dharian's High Rider ("Missy") in Lubbock. We co-own him and are looking forward to showing him. He's an adorable pup, but VERY opinionated.
Dharian's Leather N Lace "Lace" "Lace" is a very typey pup with a lot of pizzazz and personality plus. She is very fast, so a coursing career as well as a show career may be in her future. Dharian's Rhiannon "Rhiannon" She's staying here with us at Dharian. We tried to give her a shorter call name, but she insisted that her name was Rhiannon. Dharian's Beautiful Child "Sara" "Sara" was the belle of the ball at the National Specialty, catching the eye of several breeders (including her daddy's). She is a sturdy, sweet-tempered girl who should fit in well in any home as well as any ring. Dharian's Sara "Cabba" (formerly "Raven") "Raven" (who would have been "Dharian's Nightbird") is now "Cabba", the much loved family pet of the Rogers family of San Antonio. She is VERY smart and athletic, and should be a dynamite agility and coursing dog.
